April 9, 2014 - The House Appropriations Committee today approved the fiscal year 2015 Legislative Branch Appropriations bill, to provide annual funding for the offices of Members of the House of Representatives, the support agencies of Congress (including security), services for visitors, and Capitol operations and maintenance. April 9, 2014 - The House Appropriations Committee today approved the fiscal year 2015 Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations bill, which contains funding to train and equip our troops, provide housing and services to military personnel and their families, help maintain base infrastructure, and fund veterans’ benefits and programs. Chairman Calvert Presses FWS on Greater Sage-Grouse Listing
April 3, 2014 - Today, Interior and Environment Appropriations Subcommittee Chairman Ken Calvert (CA-42) pressed U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Director Dan Ashe about the possible inclusion of the greater sage-grouse on the Federal endangered species list. Director Ashe stated that no decision on listing the greater sage-grouse would occur prior to September, 2015. More
