Final Analysis of Labor HHS Conference Report
Today, the House will vote on the Fiscal Year 2006 Labor, Health and Human Services and Education Appropriations Conference Report. The conference report cuts labor, education, health care, and human services by $1.5 billion from last year. “In order to pay for tax cuts for millionaires we are neglecting crucial investments in our country’s future and laying a double whammy on the most vulnerable members of our society.
