Honoring Our Commitment to Our Veterans
On Veterans Day, we pause to honor the courageous men and women in uniform who answered the call to serve. Our great nation is the land of the free because of the brave, and we are eternally grateful for the selfless Americans who have served and sacrificed to defend our freedoms.
As a nation, we are forever indebted to our veterans. Today is yet another reminder that Congress has a solemn duty to fulfill the commitments our country made in return for their service.
This obligation is not taken lightly – House Republicans remain committed to caring for our veterans and their loved ones during and after service.
The Fiscal Year 2024 Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, H.R. 4366 – which House Republicans passed in July – fully funds veterans’ health care, ensures our veterans have access to the medical treatment they deserve, and supports other critical VA programs.
House Republicans' commitment to our nation’s veterans will never waver, and H.R. 4366 displays that continued support.
- Veterans’ health care is FULLY funded;
- Veterans’ benefits are FULLY funded;
- PACT Act is FULLY funded; and
- Other VA programs like the State Veterans Home Construction Grant Program and the National Cemetery Administration are FULLY funded.
Without question, House Republicans are ensuring the promises made to our nation’s heroes are kept.
