In addition, Rogers reiterated his commitment to maintaining the recently passed debt-ceiling agreement, which holds discretionary spending to $1.043 trillion for fiscal year 2012.

The bill includes a total of $39.6 billion in regular discretionary funding, which is $8.6 billion or 18% below last year’s level.
