The United States House of Representatives today passed a short-term Continuing Resolution (CR) to prevent a government shutdown and continue funding for critical federal programs and services through February 8, 2019. The temporary funding measure also provides $5 billion for border wall construction and $7.8 billion for disaster recovery.
