Thank you, Mr. Speaker, as Chairman of the CJS Subcommittee, I rise in support of H.R. 6938.
From national security and law enforcement to American innovation and space exploration, the CJS bill before us puts the nation on a path to greatness while reinforcing President Trump’s bold agenda on trade and combating illicit drug trafficking.

I am pleased to begin consideration of H.R. 6938 today, which includes the Fiscal Year 2026 Department of the Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act.

I rise in strong support of H.R. 6938. As Chairman of the Energy and Water Development subcommittee, I worked hard to ensure this bill includes many House Republican priorities.
