WASHINGTON – Today, the Full Committee met to consider the fiscal year 2020 Transportation and Housing and Urban Development appropriations bill. The bill makes significant headway in improving the safety and quality of life of the public, but due to controversial provisions and the overall funding level, Committee Republicans were unable to support the bill.

WASHINGTON – Today, the Full Committee met to consider the fiscal year 2020 Agriculture, Rural Development, and FDA appropriations bill. While the bill makes substantial investments in agriculture and our rural communities, Committee Republicans were unable to support the bill due to problematic provisions and the funding levels in the bill.

WASHINGTON – Top Appropriations Committee Republican Kay Granger (R-TX) praised the passage of a much-needed disaster relief bill through the House of Representatives, which is now on its way to the President for signature. Granger was a lead negotiator of the bill, providing $19.1 billion in disaster assistance for more than 40 states and territories.
