Appropriations Subcommittee Vice Chairs Named

WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Appropriations Chairman Hal Rogers today announced the Vice Chairs of the twelve Appropriations Subcommittees. These Members will serve as Chair of the subcommittee in the absence of the Chairperson, and assist them in official Committee duties.

 

“These Members are an excellent group of talented, dedicated individuals that are more than ready for the difficult work of cutting spending and crafting frugal and responsible federal budgets. As Vice-Chairs, they will be an essential part of a successful Appropriations process,” Rogers said.

Commerce, Justice, Science Subcommittee: Rep. Jo Bonner (R-AL), Vice Chair

 

Defense Subcommittee: Rep. Jerry Lewis (R-CA), Vice Chair
