Chairman Cole Announces Changes to Subcommittee Leadership

Washington, D.C. – House Appropriations Committee Chairman Tom Cole (R-OK) today announced changes to the slate of subcommittee chairs for the 118th Congress. Additional changes to the lineup are forthcoming.

Chairman Cole said, “I’m proud to have this remarkably experienced and capable group leading our subcommittees. Each chair is well-equipped to responsibly meet our fiscal obligations and prioritize the American people. With the appropriations season already upon us, we will be vigorously working together to fulfill our commitments.”

• Rep. Steve Womack (R-AR) will chair the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Subcommittee.
• Rep. Dave Joyce (R-OH) will chair the Financial Services and General Government Subcommittee.
• Rep. David Valadao (R-CA) will chair the Legislative Branch Subcommittee.
