New Appropriations Committee Hires
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. House Appropriations Committee Ranking Member Jerry Lewis (R-Calif.), today announced the hiring of three new employees to the Republican staff of the House Appropriations Committee.
Stephanie Myers has joined the committee staff and is assigned to the Subcommittee on Agriculture. Prior to joining the Appropriations staff, Ms. Myers worked as the Deputy Chief Counsel to the Ranking Member at the House Agriculture Committee. She is a graduate ofKentStateUniversity and has a J.D. from theUniversity ofToledo .
Kevin Jones has joined the Republican staff and is assigned to the Subcommittee on Homeland Security, and the Subcommittee on Labor, Health, and Human Services. Mr. Jones previously worked for the Subcommittee on Defense Appropriations. He is a graduate ofJamesMadisonUniversity .
Jennifer Hing has joined the committee staff as Communications Director. Previously, Ms. Hing served as Press Secretary for U.S. Transportation Secretary Mary Peters, and as Communications Director for Rep. Joe Knollenberg (R/MI). She is a graduate ofOregonStateUniversity .
“These three highly qualified individuals are great additions to our staff, and I know that the Committee and the Congress will be well served by having them aboard.” Rep. Lewis said.
