WASHINGTON - Today, the House Appropriations Committee released the Fiscal Year 2024 bills for the Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies and Legislative Branch Subcommittees. The bills will be considered tomorrow, May 17th at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. respectively.
Welcome to the Line-by-Line, a summary of activities and highlights from the House Appropriations Committee Republicans, Members of Congress committed to reviewing the Federal budget, conducting oversight of taxpayer dollars, and making funding decisions, line-by-line.
The Subcommittee will come to order. I'd like to remind everyone that we will follow the five-minute rule for opening remarks, questions, and comments. Members will be recognized in order of seniority based on who is seated at the beginning of the hearing rotating between the parties. Members that arrive after the gavel will be recognized in the order of arrival.
