Washington, D.C. – Today, the House Appropriations Committee met to consider the Fiscal Year 2027 Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act. The measure was approved by the Committee with a vote of 34 to 28.

Washington, D.C. – House Appropriations Committee Chairman Tom Cole (OK-04) released the following statement after supporting the Secure America Act, legislation that delivers long-term funding for ICE and Border Patrol personnel, immigration enforcement operations, and other critical homeland security priorities after repeated efforts by Senate Democrats to obstruct funding, trigger government shutdowns, and derail the regular appropriations process:
