Congress has approved legislation to extend funding for federal operations and end the government shutdown. The Continuing Resolution (CR) is a stopgap measure that will maintain government funding through February 8, 2018.

The U.S. House today approved legislation to maintain current funding for federal operations and prevent a government shutdown. The Continuing Resolution (CR) is a stopgap measure that will extend government funding through February 16, 2018. In absence of this legislation, existing funding would run out on January 19, 2018.
