The House Appropriations Committee today released the fiscal year 2014 State and Foreign Operations Appropriations bill, which will be considered in subcommittee tomorrow. The bill totals $34.1 billion in regular discretionary funding, which is $8 billion, or 19%, below the fiscal year 2013 enacted level and approximately $6 billion below the current level caused by automatic sequestration cuts.

The House Appropriations Committee today approved the fiscal year 2014 Financial Services and General Government Appropriations bill. The bill provides annual funding for the Treasury Department, the Executive Office of the President, the Judiciary, the District of Columbia, the Small Business Administration, the General Services Administration, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and several other independent agencies.

The bill funds the Department of Commerce, the Department of Justice, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the National Science Foundation (NSF), and other related agencies.

The House Appropriations Committee today approved the fiscal year 2014 Energy and Water Development, and Related Agencies Appropriations bill (H.R. 2609) on a vote of 227-198. The legislation provides annual funding for national defense nuclear weapons activities, the Army Corps of Engineers, various programs under the Department of Energy, and other related agencies.
