Washington, D.C. – This week, Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Subcommittee Chairman John Carter (R-TX) and House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs Chairman Mike Bost (R-IL) released a letter that was sent to Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Secretary Denis McDonough regarding the Veterans Health Administration’s reported $12 billion dollar health care budget shortfall and supplemental appropriations request.
