Thank you, Chairman Joyce, and thank you to Ranking Member Hoyer, Ranking Member DeLauro, and to all the members of the subcommittee for being here today as we continue our appropriations work.

Washington, D.C. – House Appropriations Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Subcommittee Chairman John Carter (R-TX) and Committee Chairman Tom Cole (R-OK) today spoke on the House floor in support of the Fiscal Year 2025 Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations Bill (H.R. 8580). They highlighted how the legislation fully funds health care and benefits for our veterans, supports our military families and quality of life on base, and strengthens America’s defense.
