Cole Releases FY27 Programmatic, Language, and Community Project Funding Guidance
Dear Colleague,
I am pleased to announce the beginning of the Fiscal Year 2027 appropriations process. On Wednesday, February 25, Members may begin submitting programmatic and language requests and Community Project Funding requests for the upcoming year.
Starting this week, the Chairs of our subcommittees will begin releasing guidance for each bill. Please review each subcommittee’s guidance in detail to confirm eligibility and ensure full compliance with all specific requirements. Due to high interest and demand, the limit for Community Project Funding requests is now increased to 20 projects per Member.
Please continue coordinating with project recipients to ensure all submitted information is current, accurate, and complete. The Committee maintains a strong emphasis on demonstrating a clear federal nexus consistent with applicable federal policies and guidelines.
Committee staff are here to assist you and your office throughout the process – please reach out to us at any stage at Approp.MemberServices@mail.house.gov. I look forward to working with you during the Fiscal Year 2027 process. Attached is additional information on training and resources for your office.
