WASHINGTON - Today, the House Appropriations Committee released the Fiscal Year 2024 bill for the Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Subcommittee. The bill will be considered tomorrow, May 18th at 9:00 a.m. The markup will be live-streamed and can be found on the Committee's website.

Thank you, Chairman Carter, for presenting the Military Construction and Veterans Affairs bill, the first appropriations bill we will consider for Fiscal Year 2024.

I appreciate the work that you have done on this bill.

With our markups this week, we will demonstrate how we are able to reduce overall spending without impacting our commitment to veterans, national defense, or homeland security.

This bill before us fully and responsibly funds veterans' health care.

It will ensure our veterans get the medical treatment they deserve.

WASHINGTON - Today, the House Appropriations Committee released the Fiscal Year 2024 bills for the Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies and Legislative Branch Subcommittees. The bills will be considered tomorrow, May 17th at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. respectively.

Good morning. I am pleased to welcome today the Administrator of the Health Resources and Services Administration to talk about the Provider Relief Fund and healthcare workforce issues in general.

The Provider Relief Fund was originally created in the CARES Act to reimburse health care providers for increased expenses or lost revenue as a result of COVID lockdowns and COVID treatments.
