The House Appropriations Committee Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Subcommittee today released instructions for submitting written testimony for the record.

House Appropriations Chairman Hal Rogers today announced the Republican membership of the 12 Appropriations subcommittees for the 114th Congress.

House Appropriations Committee Chairman Hal Rogers today applauded the House of Representatives for passing legislation to fund the government for the remainder of the 2015 fiscal year.

The House Appropriations Committee today unveiled the fiscal year 2015 Omnibus Appropriations bill, the legislation that will provide discretionary funding for the vast majority of the federal government for the current fiscal year. The bill includes full Appropriations legislation and funding for 11 of the 12 annual Appropriations bills through the end of the fiscal year, September 30, 2015. The 12th bill, which funds the Department of Homeland Security, is also included in the legislation, but is funded under a temporary “Continuing Resolution” mechanism that expires on February 27, 2015.

The U.S. House today approved a short term Continuing Resolution (CR) (H.J.Res. 124) to prevent a government shutdown at the end of the fiscal year on September 30, 2014.
