LEWIS: Common sense on spending
COMMENTARY:
America's economic crisis continues, and there is an immediate need for Congress to produce a strong and definitive plan to help weather this financial storm.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – With the Senate continuing to debate the massive stimulus spending bill today, House Appropriations Committee Ranking Republican Jerry Lewis indicated his continued and growing concern over the size and content of the legislation.
One of the major flaws of both the House and Senate stimulus packages is the lack of a clear description of how these funds will actually be spent by federal agencies.
