WASHINGTON – Today, top Appropriations Committee Republican Kay Granger (R-TX) delivered the following remarks on H.R. H.R. 3877, the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2019.
Mr. Speaker, I rise today in support of H.R. 3877. I am proud to support this two-year budget agreement because the alternative – not having an agreement – is simply not an option.
This deal keeps our economy on solid footing, because the United States will avoid defaulting on our financial obligations.

WASHINGTON – Today, Top Appropriations Committee Republican Kay Granger (R-TX) released the following statement on Turkey's receipt of the S-400 and the Administration's response.
"Turkey's acceptance of the Russian-made missile defense system, the S-400, is completely irresponsible. As a result, Turkey will not receive F-35s, the world's most lethal fifth-generation aircraft," said Granger.

WASHINGTON – Today, top Appropriations Committee Republican Kay Granger (R-TX) delivered the following remarks on Senate-amended H.R. 3401, the Emergency Supplemental Appropriations for Humanitarian Assistance and Security at the Southern Border Act.
Mister Speaker, I claim such time as I may consume.
I rise in very strong support of H.R. 3401 as amended by the Senate.
Hundreds of thousands of people have arrived at the border this year. More than 100,000 have crossed each of the last three months with 144,000 in May alone.
