Good evening ladies and gentlemen – The subcommittee on labor, health and human services, education, and related agencies will now come to order. I would like to thank everyone for making arrangements to arrive before votes so we can hit the ground running. Washington, D.C. – Today, the House Appropriations Committee released the Fiscal Year 2026 bill for the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Subcommittee. The bill will be considered in subcommittee tomorrow, September 2nd, at 5:00 p.m.
Washington, D.C. – Today, the House Appropriations Committee met to consider the Fiscal Year 2026 National Security, Department of State, and Related Programs Appropriations Act. The measure was approved by the Committee with a vote of 35 to 27.

Today’s Fiscal Year 2026 National Security, Department of State, and Related Programs appropriations bill marks a critical step toward advancing a sharpened approach to U.S. foreign policy.
