FY25 Member Request Guidance

To ensure every Member of Congress has an opportunity to participate in the annual appropriations process, Members may submit programmatic, language, and Community Project Funding requests to the Committee using the electronic portal available here.

Programmatic Requests: Members may submit a request to fund a specific program or activity in the bill at a specified level.
- Submission Deadline: Friday, May 3, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. EST
Language Requests: Members may submit a request to include specific bill or report language that does not direct funding to a particular entity but encourages, urges, or directs some type of action.
- Submission Deadline: Friday, May 3, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. EST
Community Project Funding Requests: Members may submit a request to fund specific projects in their communities, so long as the projects have a federal nexus and meet other requirements established by federal law, House Rules, and the Committee to ensure only high-quality projects are requested and funded.

- Submission Deadline for Commerce-Justice-Science; Interior-Environment; and Transportation-Housing and Urban Development Subcommittees: Friday, May 10, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. EST
- Deadline for Members to post Community Project Funding requests on their official websites: Friday, May 17, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. EST
