This subcommittee is a strong supporter of the Navy, in particular our submarine programs. The Columbia-class submarines will host 70% of our nation’s nuclear deterrent. The Virginia-class submarines are the lynchpin of our strategy to outmatch China.

Washington, D.C. – Today, the House of Representatives met to consider the Veterans Benefits Continuity and Accountability Supplemental Appropriations Act, which provides $3 billion in mandatory funding for certain veteran benefits and holds the Biden-Harris Administration accountable for its egregious budgeting errors that caused the unprecedented shortfall. The measure was approved by voice vote.
