The Conference Committee on H.R. 6157 and the Conference Committee on H.R. 6147 will meet this Thursday, September 13.

The House Appropriations Committee today filed a three-bill Appropriations “minibus” funding bill, which will head to the House floor for consideration this week. The joint House and Senate Conference Committee on the package have approved the legislation. The package of bills includes funding for the Energy and Water, Military Construction and Veterans Affairs, and Legislative Branch Appropriations bills for fiscal year 2019.

The U.S. House of Representatives today announced the Members of Congress that will participate in the Conference Committee to finalize the Fiscal Year 2019 Interior and Environment, Financial Services, Agriculture, and Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriations bills.

The House Appropriations Committee today approved the fiscal year 2019 Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Appropriations bill on a vote of 29-22 . The bill targets critical programs such as aviation security, border and immigration enforcement, customs activities, protection against cyberterrorism, natural disaster response, and efforts to stop the smuggling of drugs and people into the U.S.

The House today approved a package of two fiscal year 2019 Appropriations bills, including a bill funding the Interior and Environment and a bill funding Financial Services and General Government.
