House Appropriations Committee Chairman Hal Rogers spoke today on the House floor in support of H.R. 2250, a short-term continuing resolution that provides funding for the federal government through December 16.

House Appropriations Committee Chairman Hal Rogers today introduced a short term Continuing Resolution (CR) to fund the federal government for an additional five days, until midnight on December 16, 2015 (H.J. Res. 75). With current funding for the federal government due to expire on December 11, the new resolution today will prevent a shutdown and allow for additional time for Congress to negotiate and pass a year-long Omnibus funding bill. The new resolution will maintain existing funding levels.

House Appropriations Committee Chairman Hal Rogers today spoke on the House floor in support of H.R. 4038, the American Security Against Foreign Enemies (SAFE) Act of 2015. The bill passed the House on a bipartisan vote of 289-137.
