The House today approved the fiscal year 2013 Energy and Water Development and Related Agencies Appropriations bill on a vote of 255-165. The legislation provides the annual funding for the various agencies and programs under the Department of Energy (DoE) and other related agencies, and totals $32.1 billion – a cut of $965 million below the President’s budget request.

Welcome to the mark up of the fiscal year 2013 Financial Services and General Government bill. As you know, this Subcommittee has jurisdiction over a diverse group of agencies and activities including financial regulators, tax collections, the White House, the Federal courts, DC, GSA and the Small Business Administration.
