Washington, D.C. – Following enactment of the FY26 Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act and the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, Republicans are helping fuel American ingenuity and scientific discovery to secure space superiority and push the next frontier forward. The successful launch of Artemis II – the first crewed deep space mission in more than half a century – demonstrates these NASA investments are delivering and ensures America, not our adversaries, leads the return to the Moon.

Washington, D.C. – The Democrat-led shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security has now surpassed any shutdown in history. Since February, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and his caucus have directed DHS personnel to work without guaranteed paychecks, wreaked havoc at airports across the nation, and purposely limited resources to protect the homeland. And to add insult to injury, as the crisis they created drags on, they’ve headed out of town for a two-week recess.

The legislation fully reopens the Department of Homeland Security, pays all personnel, and ensures critical operations are resourced and ready.
